Ugly Roof Stains – Why we started the roof cleaner guide.

We were surprised to find out in 1998 that the ugly black stains and streaks on the roof of our house and most of our neighbor’s houses was actually a form of roof mold or algae.

We tried to find information about choosing a roof cleaner, but really couldn’t find much more than a couple roof cleaner products pointing fingers at each other over who was better. Learning about roof cleaning should not be that hard!

That experience brought us to creating the Roof Cleaner Guide. We want to help you whether you decide on a DIY roof cleaning project or using professional roof cleaning services.
